Who will be sitting across from you.

Facts first: I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Arizona and California. After attending Fuller Seminary's Graduate School of Psychology, I worked in a community-based non-profit practice for nearly ten years. For the past four years, I’ve simultaneously run a private practice. I’ve worked extensively with families, individuals, children, parents, and couples dealing with an array different types of struggles and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Now, the fun stuff: My mother shares that when I was a toddler, she’d wheel me around the grocery store in our small town, and I’d constantly lock eyes with passersby and begin talking with them. I have loved people all my life and consider the process of partnering with you in therapy to be sacred, important work. While I ultimately wish there was not a need for therapists in life, (and am constantly trying to work myself out of a job), I do love what I do.

My wife would tell you that she laughs every time we enter a coffee shop because I know all the baristas by name, as well as any of the regulars (because I am one).  I dig community. I love knowing and being known. That’s a part of why I love therapy. I love helping others find their roots and feel more peace within themselves and within their relationships.  Lastly, I care deeply about the Flagstaff community and cherish being a part of the healing of couples and families in our sweet little town.

If I seem like the kind of person you’d be comfortable sorting through the hard stuff of life with, contact me.  I’m here and wanting to help.
